Here is one of the eight babies whose life was saved
today...this little one is 2-3 days-old and requires around-the-clock care for the
next 4-6 weeks. We are in dire need of Kitten Replacer Milk and Sweet Scoop
litter for these so that they don't get infections from eating/contact with the
clay litter. These babies completely rely on "us" (referring also
to our AMAZING foster parents) to keep them alive. It is a big and SO
rewarding job. Thank you to all of our foster families and kitty-caretakers!
Donating to the Special Needs Fund will help cover the costs for medications and/or
food and supplies required to keep these babies healthy. Thank you for your
support!

This foster baby had to have an emergency catheter
implanted underneath the cast due to an overgrowth of bacteria that resulted
in a life-threatening GI infection. The fees to save the life of this little
one totaled over $400. THIS is why our Special Needs Medical Fund is SO
important to these animals. Without your help, we couldn't help them.

Hope is a fragile girl suffering from the
psychological trauma of being isolated in a basement with no human/animal
contact for 13 years. She is one example of why our Special Needs
Program is so important, as she requires specific care while the
long-term emotional healing begins.

Delilah was found near Clearwater Junction and had a serious eye
injury/infection. The generosity of a person who couldn't bear to see
her suffer saved Delilah's life. Unfortunately, she had to have surgery that
included her eye being removed, but that didn't get her spirits down. She has
since been adopted and will be going to her forever home soon! Your donation
to the Special Needs Medical Fund can help pay for unexpected expenses such
as this that give animals like Delilah a second
chance.
